Command Line Cookbook

Use free command line tools to accomplish tasks, easily

This project is meant to be a sort of training wheels for people who are relatively computer literate, but aren't yet comfortable working in their computer's command line. 

It includes

• a built in terminal
• tutorials to get you oriented and help install some useful software
• recipes for how to use those programs

Some of the recipes include

• Create .ICO and .ICNS icons with imagemagick
• Convert HEIC or WEBP images to JPG
• Create a gif from a video with gifski
• Download video and audio files from the web with yt-dlp

Right now, only Apple Silicon Macs are supported. Linux should work fine if you're comfortable building it yourself. Windows support is a WIP.
